Welcome to Phoenix United Reformed Church!

Welcome to Phoenix United Reformed Church!  We extend a warm welcome to those visiting us today. “For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them” Matt 18:20. Please join us for coffee and refreshments following the morning worship service. Visitors are always warmly invited to participate in our Sunday School classes, available for all ages, following our morning worship services.

Morning Worship — 9:30 AM

We are led in worship this morning by Rev. Phil Grotenhuis, continuing on in a series on "Discipleship".

Evening Worship — 5:30 PM

We will be led in worship by Rev. Michael Spotts. What assurance do you have of continuing in your faith? Tonight, we examine God's preserving promise. That is, to all whom the Spirit grants new birth, he also applies every other benefit of salvation culminating in glory.

The PURC Sunday Education year will begin on Sunday, September 10th, and go until May 13th, 2018.  Classes are available for children and adults, and a nursery is also provided. The Sunday School bell will ring at 11:00 am to signal the start, and will ring again at 11:45am to mark the conclusion. Parents are asked to pick up their children from the classrooms in a timely fashion.

Adult Ed. Season: Marriage & Family

Our upcoming adult education season is slated to begin September 10. Like last year, our Fall adult education season will revolve around a three month preaching series. The preaching series will cover various texts relating to Christian marriage - a timely subject not only for the church but the world. Our adult classes will then involve an informal and small group-based discussion of each sermon in the series led by Pastor Grotenhuis.
