Marathon Road Closure

Please be advised that there will be road closures (Missouri Ave) on Sunday, January 14th, due to the yearly Rock N Roll Marathon. As an alternate route, take SR 51 to Glendale Ave. Go east on Glendale (this will turn into Lincoln Drive). Turn south on 24th Street. Proceed to Montebello Rd. Turn west on Montebello and proceed to 20th Street. Turn south on 20th Street. The church will be on your left. The road closures will only affect access for the morning worship service.

Discipleship: Growing Up & Out in the Spirit

In the AM service, Pastor Grotenhuis begins a study of Christian discipleship. We'll learn its biblical basis, demands, and blessings. You'll also be challenged and equipped disciple others.

 

Canons of Grace: A Biblical Study of the Synod of Dort

In the PM service, Pastor Spotts will examine the doctrines confessed at the Synod of Dort (1618-19). We'll discover their biblical truth and vital importance for Christian faith and mission. Can't make it out? Be sure to catch the series online.

Membership Class

A Fall membership course is being offered by Pastors Grotenhuis and Spotts for all those who are interested in becoming members at PURC. The course will be offered on two consecutive Saturday mornings: 

November 25 and December 2 from 9-am-12 pm at the church.

Coffee and bagels will be provided.

Purpose

The class is designed to give prospective members information about our church’s history, beliefs, and practices. We welcome questions and comments. Current members have expressed appreciation for the insight they gained during the course.

Note—there is no obligation or expectation for all those who attend to become members. The purpose is simply to help you explore the Faith and make an informed decision about where to worship and serve.
