CADETS (boys,  ages 9-14)

Similar to Boy Scouts, Cadets is a nationwide ministry that introduces boys to practical skills, service projects, and outdoors activities, but with an emphasis on Reformed faith and discipleship. More info.

GEMS (girls, ages 8-12)

A nationwide ministry designed to promote learning and relationships among girls. We meet the second and fourth Wednesday evening, September-May. More info.

Vacation Bible School (Co-Ed, PreK-6th Gr.)

A week-long program of activities and lessons geared toward understanding the Gospel and applying one's faith to life.

CADETS (boys,  ages 9-14)

When:
Cadets meets at the church every second and fourth Wednesday evening, September-May. Check the Calendar for meeting dates!

What & Why:
Simply put, boys need the discipleship of their fathers and other Christian men. Through the Calvinist Cadet Program the fathers/men in our congregation have the distinct privilege to build up these “future men.” The goal of the cadet ministry is to help boys grow in four main areas:

Devotional, Mental, Physical and Social.

These goals will be achieved through Bible study lessons, Christian service projects, outdoor activities and working on merit badges. There is no better use of  our time than to invest in the future of the church.

Get involved: 
We strongly encourage all boys (ages 9-14) to be involved, along with any men that feel they could share their talents with our boys.
Pray about your role in the lives of these young men.
Pray for this new avenue here at PURC and that it would impact these young men for God’s glory!

GEMS is a nationwide ministry designed to promote learning and relationships among girls approximately ages 8 to 12 years old. We meet the second and fourth Wednesday evening, September-May. Check out the PURC Calendar for meeting dates.
