Who's it for?

Boys (ages 9-14), fathers, and men willing to make disciples.

When is it?

Cadets meets at PURC every 2nd/4th Wednesday, from 6-8 PM, Sep.-May. There are also special events like the annual summer Campout and Thanksgiving hike. Check the Calendar for dates. 

What is it and Why? 

Boys need the discipleship of their fathers and other Christian men. Through the Cadet program, men in our congregation have the distinct privilege of building up these “future men.” The goal of the cadet ministry is to help boys grow in four main areas of life:

Devotional, Mental, Physical and Social.

These goals will be achieved through Bible study lessons, Christian service projects, outdoor activities and working on merit badges. There is no better use of  our time than to invest in the future of the church.

Get involved: 

We strongly encourage all boys (ages 9-14) to be involved, along with any men that feel they could share their talents with our boys.
Pray about your role in the lives of these young men and let us know if you are willing.

Special Events

June 11-13, 2021 Campout

All prior, current and incoming Cadets and their fathers are invited to join us Friday, June 11 to Sunday, June 13.  We will have a wonderful time f hiking, fishing, training, and fun at Bear Canyon Lake on the beautiful Mogollon Rim. Pastor Spotts will conduct our Sunday Worship service in the great outdoors.
