GEMS

GIRLS EVERYWHERE MEETING THE SAVIOR

Basics

Who's it for?

GEMS is a place where all 3rd-8th grade girls are welcome to belong and be loved.

When is it?

GEMS meets at church every 2nd/4th Wednesday, from 6-8 PM, Sep.-May.

What and Why?

GEMS evenings are packed with songs, games, crafts, lessons, projects, prayer and some special surprises. GEMS focuses on building relationships among girls, with counselors and most importantly with Jesus. Throughout the year, our goal is to build relationships that help bring the girls into a living relationship with Jesus Christ.

This Year’s Theme:

Girls everywhere are battling the storms of life, being tossed and turned by waves of lies, doubt, and fear. But what if girls knew the One more powerful than the wind and waves and lived anchored to the unchanging Truth of Scripture?

That’s why this year's theme is Walk on Water: Stepping Out to Trust Our Faithful God. This year the girls will be learning that God is always with them and He invites them to trust Him by stepping out in faith. it will help girls:

  • Trust God—the One who has always been and always will be with them.

  • Grasp God’s faithfulness through the grand biblical narrative.

  • Grow in a living, dynamic relationship with Jesus through prayer, worship, and Scripture.

  • Boldly step out in faith to share the gospel and their testimonies.

  • Live out their faith through meaningful service projects.

We want to help foster girls who know how to walk on water—because they trust the One calling them out of the boat.
