Who's it for?

GEMS is a place where all 3rd-8th grade girls are welcome to belong and be loved.

When is it?

GEMS meets at church every 1st/3rd Wednesday, from 6-8 PM, Sep.-May.

What and Why? 

GEMS evenings are packed with songs, games, crafts, lessons, projects, prayer and some special surprises. GEMS focuses on building relationships among girls, with counselors and most importantly with Jesus. Throughout the year, our goal is to build relationships that help bring the girls into a living relationship with Jesus Christ.

This Year’s Theme: 

Today’s girls are navigating a world filled with confusion, pressure, anxiety, and countless competing voices telling them who they should be and where they should find the truth. Many girls look to culture, social media, achievements, or friendships for direction and identity, but those things were never meant to guide their hearts.

That’s why this year’s theme, Wayfinder, is so important.

In John 14:6, Jesus says:

“I am the way and the truth and the life. . . ”

Throughout this season, girls will discover that Jesus is the only Way, the Truth, and the Life. No matter what girls face, they can trust that Jesus knows the way forward and walks with them every step of the journey.

Our GEMS Club is designed to welcome every girl—whether she knows many Bible stories already or is hearing about Jesus for the very first time. Every girl belongs here.

Through the Wayfinder curriculum, girls will explore God’s story throughout Scripture and learn how Jesus meets us in every circumstance. They will discover how God’s truth gives direction for real life and how following Jesus shapes the way we live, love, serve, and lead others.

We are praying this season helps girls:

• Know Jesus more personally

• Trust God’s direction for their lives

• Learn how to discern God’s Truth versus what the world tells them

• Build confidence rooted in God’s Truth

• Discover how Scripture guides everyday decisions

• Shine God’s love in their homes, schools, churches, and communities
