“...let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” — Mt 5:16
As much as possible, we encourage our Members to give their time, energy, and resources back to the community in Christ's name. Here are ways others are serving that you can get involved with. If you know of more, let us know.
Mentor local Foster Children
Christian Family Care's Mentoring Program is designed to provide local youth in foster care with a mentor who will have a consistent presence in their life. The goal is for children to achieve a close bond with an adult who also has a relationship with Jesus. This will be a traditional mentoring program, in that one mentor will be matched with one youth and meetings will be face-to-face each month. Training provided. See the link for more information.
