To better serve our congregation, we have implemented a secure one-way system for sending text messages to our membership. Our plan is to occasionally send urgent reminders and alerts. Message and data rates may apply (typically, this only applies to those without unlimited texting).
Opting Out/In
Just as with our email list, you may opt-out of receiving church-wide text messages. Simply reply with STOP and you placed on the “do not text” list. You may also use the form on this page to customize your contact settings.
Recognize us (but don’t respond)
Genuine texts will always come from the number 87447. We recommend saving this number in your contacts as “Phoenix URC Alerts”. NOTE: the system is one-way. There is no need to respond (other than to opt-out).
Privacy
Your privacy is paramount. Membership contact information is encrypted and strictly accessed by our secretary, officers, and limited members (i.e., schedulers for nursery) — not shared with third parties.
